produced, the second and third numbers indicate the week of the year it
was produced. The remaining numbers or letters are for internal
manufacturing purposes. Below is an example.

432DM41
(the 4 = year 2004)
(the 32 = the 32nd week of 2004)

The freshness depends upon how the product is stored. Masterfoods USA, a
division of Mars, Incorporated works closely with retail partners to
assure that our products reach our consumers in fresh and satisfactory
condition.
